Monolith of Time is our first album, a very heavy record, ranging from slow and doomish parts to blastbeats, guitars like a jackhammer puncturing your brain, and gloomy background vocals. Drums and bass are very clear and independent, enhancing the heaviness even more. The music has a somber mood all along the album, a mood in the vein of Incantation, Dead Congregation, Krypts, by the other hand, it also features lots of odd time signatures and elaborated arrangements.
The lyrics speak about themes related to ancient civilisations, their culture and their wars.
------------

about
Tezcatlipoca (tɛzˌkætliˈpoʊkə) was a central deity in Aztec religion, and his main festival was the Toxcatl ceremony celebrated in the month of May.
One of the four sons of Ometeotl, he is associated with a wide range of concepts, including the night sky, the night winds, hurricanes, the north, the earth, obsidian, enmity, discord, rulership, divination, temptation, jaguars, sorcery, beauty, war and strife.
His name in the Nahuatl language is often translated as "Smoking Mirror" and alludes to his connection to obsidian, the material from which mirrors were made in Mesoamerica which were used for shamanic rituals and prophecy.
lyrics
Oh, almighty smoking mirror black
We are all your eternal slaves
The one whom we live by, worship thee
We stoop down all the nights and days
Born, fire, wind, night
Lord, dire, fiend, deny!
Solo: DAVID
Oh, Lord of the near and nigh
Enemy of both sides, night and wind
Possessor of the sky and earth, will shine
Thou shall rule as our king
Solo: RUDOLPH
AMBIENT: Music ADAPTED FROM Synaulia, "Music Of Ancient Rome, vol. 1"
Oh, ruler of the storms at north
Deliver us to your sorcery
Thou art the living death unborn
Hast haunted all Our forfended enemies

These guys must have fun reading how people try to pigeonhole them into some genre. OK then: A bit of black, a bit of prog, a bit of - do I hear NWOTHM? over solid melodic death with haunted vocals. Excellent and the longer you play it the better it gets.
How come nobody mentioned the bass? YomaBarr
